Aus Crypto Con and the Blockies
Hey folks, š Mark Monfort here and what a week and weekend it's been in Sydney. We just had the Aus Crypto Conference do it's first run at a Sydney showcase and it was all it was cracked up to be. It does help bieng at all time highs for sure but still, great crowdn and a lot of education on projects happening in this space.

Probably the biggest event to watch on day 2 was the Raoul Pal x Jamie Coutts CMT, CFTe of Real Vision talk on Unf*ck Your Future. Here's some of my takeaways from that.
Financial Repression: Zero-interest rate policies and money printing inflate debt away but hurt individuals by disconnecting wages and business earnings from asset prices, widening wealth inequality.
Bitcoin as a Hedge: Despite its volatility, Bitcoin has become the fastest-growing asset, offering a decentralised and globalised alternative to traditional financial systems.
Exponential Age: We are living through a period where multiple transformative technologiesāblockchain, AI, roboticsāare hitting mass adoption simultaneously, driving rapid societal and economic change.
AIās Transformative Power: AI is scaling infinite knowledge, redefining productivity, and challenging traditional economic structures, raising critical questions about wealth distribution and the future of work.
Blockchain for Truth: Blockchain serves as a critical "proof layer" in the AI-driven world, providing transparency and security in verifying AI outputs and managing agreements like contracts.
